Few years back, I've read in magazines that BMW CEO High Security has been stolen while it was parked around his working area! It was quite surprising that time which shows that these cars are not as secure as they sound. Anyway, even these kind of news couldn't stop popularity of these security cars between embassies and governments.
Lastest BMW 7 Series has equipped with full range of security systems to ensure that its most luxury car can be safest car in the market. It has been protected from low range and some of middle ranges weapons and it provide ballistic protection level of VR9.
Perhaps one of the most interesting features in this car is system that equipped with microphone and speaker so person inside of car can talk with people outside without opening window or doors. Car also can be equipped with fire extinguishing system inside of engine and cabin to protect them from fire.
Like any other security it is quite heavy but BMW claims that it can not be recognized by the look. BMW also ensure that performance and comfort is same as original 7 Series even that car is much heavier.
