Mercedes Benz is going to replace SLR series with new SLS. SLS is result of cooperation between Mercedes Benz and AMG in manufacturing a new Benz with capabilities of AMG at the first place. McLaren has no more interest in manufacturing new products with Mercedes Benz and already introduced it's own model.

New Mercedes Benz SLS has been inspired by old 300 SL which has same style of doors. Car in front looks classic and old, front lights are more like Nissan 350 Z and front end looks old fashioned which i don't really like it. Anyway overall looks specially at sides and rear are strong, unique and purely German.

Interior looks disappointing as again there is no option for wood and it's either can be choosed aluminum or fiber carbon. But it looks ergonomic and can stay strong in the line with other competitors.

There is wide range of technologies which has been used in SLS inclduing: Aluminium spaceframe body with gullwing doors, AMG 6.3-litre V8 front-mid engine developing 420 kW/ 571 hp peak output, 650 Nm of torque and dry sump lubrication, seven-speed dual-clutch transmission in a transaxle configuration, sports suspension with aluminium double wishbones and a kerb weight of 1620 kilograms . The ideal front/rear weight distribution of 47 to 53 percent and the vehicle's low centre of gravity are prove to it's super car and sportive nature. Acceleration for SLS is 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, before going on to a top speed of 317 km/h (electronically limited).
